Big Talent Boss Eddy Kenzo has opened up about his early life as a musician. He recalls the time he faked his age so that he could perform in Dubai.
Eddy Kenzo explained he was only 17 when he was invited to Dubai for a show yet they only allow artists above 20 to perform. He didn't want to miss the chance, he added three years to his actual age.
"I was only 17 years when I was called for a show in Dubai. I had to claim I was 20 years to perform," he partly explained in an interview with a local YouTuber.
Eddy Kenzo has had successful shows in Uganda, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
He is the only East African musician who has managed to win a BET Award.
