Kampala socialite Sipapa has been kept behind bars for over two weeks. The reason for his arrest remains unknown to the public.
The NUP President Bobi Wine has called upon the authorities to produce Sipapa in courts of law so that he faces charges for the committed crimes.
He explained that even when they don't agree politically, Sipapa remains a citizen of Uganda and his human rights must be respected.
He wrote that even though he mastermind the arrest and torture of several supporters of NUP, he should be arraigned to the court for a fair hearing.
Sipapa has for years been a critic of Bobi Wine and his political beliefs.
