A few days ago, we broke the news that Josephine Karungi had quit Serena-based NTV.
The former head of news at NTV however kept silent about the matter.
But Karungi has joined World Bank as a consultant.
The news was confirmed by Sheilah Kulubya the outgoing World Bank Communication officer in Uganda.
Karungi joins several other journalists like Allan Kasujja and Nancy Kacungira who joined global companies.
Josephine Karungi is set to be replaced by Faridah Nakazibwe
