The Purple Party boss, Douglas Lwanga, was one of the event organizers affected when the President gave a directive to put on hold all public gatherings in a bid to stop the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Event organizers under their Umbrella that unites them started soliciting funds from the government for the losses incurred.
These included; Luba Events, Douglas Lwanga, Ibrah Renal, Shubi of Kikadde, Kato Lubwama among others.
However, our snoops have informed us that Douglas Lwanga has decided to bow out and let it go.
