A screenshot of a tweet has been doing rounds on social media indicating that NRM gave Ronald Mayinja a house. This came after it was alleged that the singer had received a car from the regime.
NRM Secretary general Justine Kasule Lumumba who is said to have authored the tweet has confirmed it’s not authentic.
“Please disregard any social media posts such as the one attached to this post that is not directly shared by my accounts because they're not by me or in any way a representation of my views. Let us respect each other and fight fake news in all its forms on social media," she said.
