Veteran RnB performer and renowned actress Omawumi Megbele will be in Kenya for her East Africa tour on 24th to 30th June, 2019. The one and only West African Idols winner, is looking to promote her latest song ‘Without You’ from her recently dropped LP ‘In Her Feelings.’
Omawumi has consistently grown into a global sensation with some of her most famous songs just to mention ‘If You Ask Me’, ‘Hold My Baby’ and ‘Meke’ featuring Kizz Daniel. Known to be a genius at penning her songs and being a sound standing vocal powerhouse; she has made her mark on world stages not forgetting her remarkable debut on Coke Studio Africa Season 2.
‘In Her Feelings’ is her fourth Album following the massively famed ‘Timeless’ that featured an incredible range of artists; from her duet with Angelique Kidjo, to the incredible collaboration, fusing the sounds of Salif Keita with the South African township jive of Uhuru. Wyclefblessed the album on 'E Don Loss', and all through the album, whether in her funky role play on “Something” or on the beautiful Ballard “ButterFly’, the evident truth is the power of her voice and her vision.
‘Without You’ premiers her latest 7 track LP and is her signature fusion of afro-pop and RnB. The highly anticipated tour will shed more light on the background of her latest project. She will also dine with a group of outstanding women in Music in Kenya courtesy of Mdundo; in the course of her visit.
