A significant amount of nude and racy photos alleging to be of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Ariana Grande, and other celebrities leaked online Sunday on the 4chan link, b/chan (NSFW), sending Twitter, Reddit, and some of the stars in the leaked photos into an absolute frenzy.
The 4chan post began earlier this week, with one user claiming to have a massive amount of personal celebrity nude photos and videos. The leak began Sunday and included photos of Lawrence, Upton, Avril Lavigne, Lea Michele, and McKayla Maroney, among others. The chain began on 4chan, but has now made its way to Reddit.
The pictures were allegedly the result of a massive Apple iCloud leak, which allowed access to the celebrities’ personal phones.
Jennifer Lawrence’s publicist confirmed the authenticity of her photos to E! News.
“This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence,” Lawrence’s rep said.
