High Court has adjourned to October, 18, hearing of a case in which Kampala Businessman Ivan Kamyuka is accused of murder.

The hearing has flopped this morning due to absence of a key witness.

33 year old Kamyuka, is accused of stabbing John Ahimbisibwe, a patron of Club Guvnor with a broken glass on August 2, 2015. The brawl which resulted into Ahimbisibwe's death started after Ahimbisibwe confronted Kamyuka's wife Nina Nyarwaha, with whom they previously had a relationship and a son.

High Court had anticipated that Nyarwaha, who was also injured in the scuffle, would be able to appear by video link from Sweden, to present her evidence before the court. However, the video connection was not possible.

Lawyer Henry Kunya asked court presided over by Justice Wilson Kwesiga to adjourn the case until Nyarwaha returns to Uganda on October, 18.

Kamyuka was committed to the High Court On September 11, 2015, by Nakawa Grade One Magistrate, Christine Nantege. He was later granted a 5 million Shillings cash bail granted warranting him to report to the deputy registrar twice in a month.
