We can exclusively reveal to fellow Ugandans that Prophet Elvis Mbonye fellowships may cease to exist by end of 2017. Mbonye is just a mystery man who came to light when he started organising high-profile fellowships in expensive hotels of Kampala. He strategized and targeted young girls from Universities, corporates and the elites of this nation.

Mbonye's prophetic anointing has caught the attention of many people, to the extent that whenever he is preaching, believers pull out their phones to record the sessions lest they miss his prophecies. However, it is not that at every fellowship he will prophesy.

His fellowships have been growing from strength to strengths but sadly, this might end as his church members are slowly pulling away and he has started to miss some fellowship sessions. Here are some of the reasons why people are running away.

False prophesies

Some section of his churchgoers has been complaining of his false prophecies. Most times he has predicted miracles that are supposed to happen in people’s lives and government but nothing has come to pass in a long time. This has subjected his followers into a debate on where he is a genuine prophet. This has slowly contributed to his downfall.

 Hungry for money

People who are close to Mbonye confirmed to us that Mbonye loves money. When the Tuesday fellowship is over, he instructs all his confidants to take all the money to one office and is whisked away to unknown destination. The next day, he meets with a few people who are paid for their work. He keeps the rest and no one knows what he does with it.

No accountability for millions of money collected

As said before, no one knows where his money goes. After paying off service providers and some ushers, he banks the money to his account. There is no accountability. There is no team in the church that controls the money. It is a one man church that runs on his orders.

Discrimination in church

This is on record, Prophet Mbonye rarely prophesies on men. In most of his sessions, when it comes to the time of prophecy, girls come first. He will call Jane, Racheal and Alice and predict their fate. You can hardly hear a Man’s name being called. People started wondering if it is only women with problems. Some men have deserted the church.

Lavish lifestyle

Every Wednesday morning, a day after the mega fellowship, Mbonye and Joseph Kabuleta always go to Good African Coffee restaurant at Lugogo mall. They are often seen buying expensive burgers and Pizza worth school fees of a HIGH SCHOOL student.

Sources say they are always in heated up conversations on how to run the church. Later in the day, Mbonye‘s car is normally seen parked at Gold course Hotel, where he enjoys lunch.

Lack Of Permanent Church Home

His followers are tired of moving the whole city. They need a permanent church where they can worship from. He became more popular when he was renting at Imperial Royal Hotel before he shifted to Hilton Hotel. It became too expensive for him and he went to Kololo airstrip. A certain top government official had got him that deal but when Museveni learnt of it, he ordered his boys never to allow Mbonye at Kololo again. He is currently using Kyadondo Rugby grounds in Lugogo.

With all these at their peak...many followers have started crawling to media to expose the man of God.

Let's wait and see.
