The details surrounding Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj’s breakup are starting to leak days after Minaj announced they were done. And it looks like a big fight was the cause for the split, TMZ reports.
Apparently, the couple suffered a “nuclear fight” during Nicki’s birthday weekend last month in Turks and Caicos. Meek was conspicuously missing from all her holiday photos.
That was the final straw though: shortly after his exit, Nicki ended the relationship.
One thing is clear, the breakup has nothing to do with cheating.
Nicki took to twitter last week to officially announce the split after much speculation.
"To confirm, yes I am single," Nicki said. "Focusing on my work [and] looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon."
Meek spent most of the trip hanging with his friends instead of giving the birthday girl her due attention, according to TMZ’s sources. This led to a fight that pushed Meek to leave the island.
