Carol Atuhirwe must one of those fortunate patients that received overwhelming support during a call of need. The 25-year-old former Uganda Christian University student was diagnosed with cancer and on 26th of April 2016, a car wash campaign was staged at Panamera to fundraise for her.
A close to 80k USD approximately 264M UgShs was needed by Carol to have her operation carried out in the USA. Fortunately, 324M was fetched which aided her facilitation in India where is currently on a chain of operations.
Carol took on her facebook page and shared a touching message to all the people that took off time and deposited something on her life well-being.
"I remember you, I remember the love you showered me with when I needed it, I have not forgotten you my people, you were there for me when I needed you most.

I know sometimes you wonder why am silent but I don't intend to.Believe me, when I start eating or talking you will know about it. I can't contain such big news. I sometimes need to rest, I need sometimes offline, I have to rest enough but once in a while, I can always say a word or two.
India is a beautiful place, I have met adorable people here and you made it happen.
Am still under medication and still need your prayers as I also pray that I get well soon, come back and personally say "THANK YOU WORLD for you made it happen."
