Popular singer Bobi Wine set to announce music retirement as he looks ahead to contesting for the vacant post of Kyadondo East Parliament seat in a few months.

This comes after Kyadondo East seat, fell vacant following the High Court in Kampala throwing out FDC’s Apollo Kantinti over electoral irregularities in the February 18 elections.

NRM candidate Sitenda Sebalu who was the former area MP petitioned court, which ruled in his favour, with Justice Isabirye Kaweesa ordering fresh elections.

Sources close to Bobi Wine tell us….the singer has already mobilized a team and enough resources to run for the seat.

Through his official social media page, over the weekend, Bobi Wine hinted he is ready but it is just a matter of time…sending mixed reactions from his fans.
