The 21-year-old songstress took to Instagram to share pictures of her signature blonde tresses getting a trim.
Proving that she’s, at the very least, self-aware, she included the hashtag “#SelfieOverload” in the two throwback shots.
While it may seem like Miley is trying desperately to shed the squeaky-clean persona she had on Hannah Montana, she recently revealed that while she’s grateful to be “free” of not only her former fiancé Liam Hemsworth, but also her Disney contract—she can admit she was grateful to get her start in the house of mouse.
“You know, I’m really thankful that I started on Disney. I got the most intense training. There’s times where I wish I could have just started as a new artist, but the world has kind of allowed me to do that,” she told Elle. “I feel really lucky—a lot kid stars get all crazy or stuck in what they were, so they can’t actually become what they’re meant to be.”
