Ugandan musician and philanthropist, Angela Katatumba, through Crown Health Care LTD, has finally delivered a Phototherapy machine and syringe pump to Mulago Hospital.
It will be remembered that the singer recently donated 10million shillings which was used to procure the Phototherapy machine.
Dr. Doreen Birabwa Male, the Mulago Hospital Deputy Executive Director applauded Angella for her generous support and adding onto the effort of the hospital in trying to serve the nation.
“Every time we get such donations the number of patients doubles,” Doreen said as she welcomed Angela’s donation.
According to Sarah Mulindwa, in-charge of Special Care Units, over 80-100 babies who are born, 8-10 of them are premature and these will benefit from Angela Katatumba’s donation.
Meanwhile, She noted that the donation is one of her initiatives under the “Angela Katatumba Development Foundation” (AKDF) and she will continue to make such contributions every time an opportunity presents its self.
