The e – SIM, short for Embedded SIM, is a revolutionary virtual SIM card that empowers users to seamlessly connect to their mobile service provider without the need for a physical SIM card. How to get an MTN Uganda e-Sim
- Simply dial *#06# to confirm if your phone supports e-Sim. If it does, it will display an EID Number.
- Once the EID Number is displayed, visit an MTN Service Center near you with an Original National ID to get an e-Sim.
- The Customer service agent will guide you through the current/normal swap process where your biometric details and photos will be captured.
- A QR code will be generated for you to scan and you will have the E sim activated on your phone.
