The robbers also made off with UGX 900,000 from a supermarket attached to the Petrol station.
The surviving attendants are Byaruhanga Kalvero and Ssempijja Ronald who are helping police with investigations. Kayima advised business owners to hire more security guards instead of only one who may not be able to secure such premises in the night.
"We encourage business owners to desist from employing only one security guard, as he/she automatically becomes a target of criminals. It is actually a directive by the police department that supervises the operations of the private security firms to employ a minimum of two guards" Kayima said.
He added; "Business owners are also encouraged to install and use CCTV cameras to deter such occurrences or ease investigations in case they happen so that prosecution becomes easy."
