It is no longer a secret that the popular comedy group, Bizonto have parted ways.

The announcement came out on Monday after Jjaja Bizonto (Gold Kimatano) and Young Bizonto (Simon Peter Ssabakaki) confirmed that they had been chased from the group by Julius Sserwanja aka Kidomoole Ssaabazonto, and  Mbabaali Maliseeri aka Uncle Luyuguume.

According to Young Zonto, trouble started when Kisomole decided to register the group as a 'Bizonto media communications company’ without their consent and approval.

“He sent us messages telling us to apply for jobs in this company. This shocked us. How can I apply to something I founded. I applied anyway, but Jjaja Zonto didn’t,” Young Zonto narrates to our reporter.

He adds that the new rules and clauses are unfair and efforts to make things right were futile.

Jajaja Zonto and Young Zonto recorded a song that also caused a rift.

“We recorded a song about Mailo land, but Kidomole and Mbabali refused to upload it on YouTube. We have now decided to start our journey under the 'new zonto' group,” he adds.

The four are still workmates at a local radio station, Radio Simba presenting a morning show program known as “Binsangawano” alongside legendary media personality Omulangira Ndausi.
