Political analyst Tamale Mirundi says Chameleone is currently broke. He can only get money by kneeling before rich people. Chameleone was recently gifted with a Range Rover by Museveni's young brother.
Tamale Mirundi attributed his financial woes to gold scammers. They took a big share of his wealth.
“The Gold scammers from Congo took Chameleone's money. He is now very poor, he has to kneel before rich people to get what to eat,” the politician said.
Jose Chameleone is nevertheless among the richest musician in Uganda.
