As the general elections draw closer, the fever has intensified and candidates are praying for the best.
Musician Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone is one of the contestants for the Kampala Lord Mayorship and he is going head to head with fellow musician Ragga Dee, NUP’s Nabillah Naggayi, incumbent Erias Lukwago, Innocent Kawooya, Eddie Mbazira, Ben Lule, Isaac Sendagire, and Charles Ssenkubuge.
Incumbent Erias Lukwago is the favorite to win the race but Jose Chameleone believes that his music will give the masses a reason to vote for him.
According to the singer turned politician, his songs like “Bayuda” “Katupakase” “Basiima Ogenze” have been inspirational because of their great message.
Chameleone is confident that he will win with a landslide victory come 20th January 2021.
