Fast rising musician Priscilla Zawedde aka Azawi said Ugandan music industry has limited number of music labels.
The singer explained that the industry would be booming even more if we have over 20 music labels at the same level like Swangz Avenue.
She said the industry lacks professional talent managers and often times, talented musicians are not scouted.
Azawi confirmed that Swangz Avenue is a full fledged label with structures that are managed by professionals.
"I think we still lack professional music labels. As you can see, we only have Swangz Avenue which is outstanding but we should have like 20 or 50 labels at the same level like Swangz Avenue. This will help the industry grow," she said in an interview with a local television.
