The Democratic Party (DP) national mobiliser and singer Jose Chameleone picked People Power nomination forms to contest for Kampala Lord Mayor in the general election in 2021.
Chameleone, who had been campaigning since July last year on DP ticket recently shocked everyone when he crossed to People Power with the hope to unseat the current Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago.
Talking about his future plans, the ‘Valu Valu’ hitmaker said he will be in office for just one term incase he wins.
He wants to show other leaders that a lot can be achieved in just one term.
“My aim is to be the Kampala Lord Mayor for only one term. I will show other leaders that they can transform their areas in a short period of time,” he posted on his social media platforms.
