A day ago, musician Angella through her social media platforms confessed that she had ended her relationship with music producer, songwriter and singer Daddy Andre because he refused to take HIV test.
But based on series of events that have been happening in their love triangle, her post has alot of contradictions.
Setting the record straight, the couple made their first ever public appearance on 8th November 2019 at The Mixtape Party that happened at UMA MultiPurpose Hall. On the same night, they were spotted getting intimate backstage but they denied having a relationship beyond music.
In early February 2020, Daddy Andre and Angella confessed their love for each other in several media interviews.
This was accompanied by the release of their collaboration ‘Tonerabira’ a few days to Valentines day.
She sealed her place as Daddy Andre’s number one lover.
However, in her social media post about Daddy Andre, Angella revealed that she dumped him in January because he refused to take HIV test. “Things got crazy for him in January where he was burdened with a lot of problems. Amongst financial and many others, Andre’s former PA stole his money and his car and to make matters worse, I also left him in January because he completely refused to do the HIV test,” part of her post read.
This statement totally contradicts with the interviews the couple did together in mid February praising each other.
On top of this, Angella claimed that Andre was spending a lot of money on her and never allowed her to spend any of her money.
He quoted a crazy sum of Ugx 20 Million that had been spent on her, took her to his village to meet family and relatives.
So why did Angella Katatumba lie about her relationship with Daddy Andre all-over sudden?
According to a close source, Angella was the chief financier of the relationship.
A source told this website that Andre was glued to Angella Katatumba because she had financially changed his life.
The faded singer had even given her personal car to Daddy Andre. He was often seen cruising around town in her car.
The lie was engineered to protect Angella from being accused of using money to seduce Daddy Andre into a relationship.
This would have been used by his team in defence of his recent sexual assault on his female clients.
Angella Katatumba also forged the break up date after several upcoming female musicians came out accusing Daddy Andre of sexual harrashment.
Daddy Andre and Angella Katatumba’s relationship was running smooth until recently when sexual assault allegations came up.
She claims they broke up in January yet days to Valentines days, specifically 11th February, they had an interview with Spark TV heaping praise on each other.
She didn't want to be associated with with a man who reportedly assaulted women.
She wanted to gain public sympathy.
HIV/AIDs stigma
A few days ago, a one Kembabazi Lillian accused Daddy Andre of infecting her sister only known as Kyle with HIV/AIDs after impregnanting her and refusing to take responsibility of the pregancy.
Angella did not want to be perceived as an infected person. She instead boldy accused him of refusing to take an HIV test in order to clean her image.
