Musicians Rema Namakula and Eddy Kenzo ended their 5 year relationship a few weeks ago.

Kenzo then released a song dubbed ‘bibaawo’ in response to their break up.

In the song, one of his verses talks about a one Kayemba who doesn’t listen. And since Rema’s manager is called Kayemba, many linked him to the song and suspected he had something to do with their break up.

Rema's manager says  Kenzo was talking about  the former Kabaka of Buganda who drowned after using a boat modelled from clay despite being warned by his subjects.

“It is a proverb about the ancient Buganda King Kayemba. He drowned because he couldn’t listen after several warnings,” Kayemba told our reporter.

He further revealed that he was with Kenzo in USA when it was officially revealed that Kenzo and Rema were no more.
