Info reaching Howwe.Biz is that the Kiira Motors Corporation (KMC) will be unveiling their latest  prototype Electric Vehicle (EV) dubbed the Kayoola bus this February.

The 30-seater Kayoola bus EV is the product of years of extensive research into vehicle systems that would offer fuel-efficient solutions for Africa. For now, the bus will be fully electric, with batteries in the belly of the body, and a solar panel on the roof to supplement power. It is designed to for about 80-100km, without recharge

According to the company, they will make different kinds of cars including pickups, compact SUVs, sedans, light and medium duty trucks and buses and the first commercial 305 cars from Kiira Motors Corporation (KMC) will be complete by 2018 assuming all the necessary infrastructure and human resources are put in available.

The plant will be located in Jinja as KMC is planning to grow to 60,000 cars per year by 2039.
