Manchester United have hinted a bid of just £60million from Paris Saint-Germain could tempt them to cash in on Angel Di Maria, according to reports in Spain.

The Old Trafford club broke the British transfer record to bring the Argentina star to England from Real Madrid, but could cash in this summer for a similar fee.

Fichajes.net reports PSG are lining up a sensational £60m move for Di Maria to replace Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi - who are both expected to move on at the end of the season.

And they claim United would listen to offers in that region in order to provide funds for Louis van Gaal to invest in the team's struggling defence.

Van Gaal wants Borussia Dortmund captain Mats Hummels and Atletico Madrid's Diego Godin to replace the under performing Phil Jones and Chris Smalling.

The pair are both in their prime and would come at a huge cost, but selling Di Maria - who plays in a position where United have plenty of squad depth - could make sense.

Do you think United would sell Di Maria so soon? Would you sell him if it meant you could buy Hummels and Godin? Comment below.
