Not long ago, an upcoming singer, Sumaiya Sheebah came out and accused Eddy Yawe of asking for sex and sabotaging her career after they recorded a song together.

Sumaiya said Yawe was holding onto to project, demanding that she sleeps with him before the video shoot, something she continues to refuse.
She asked Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) President, Cindy Sanyu to help.
“First, I want to invite her to join UMA. Secondly, I don’t think I can help her right now because she has no documents to show what they agreed on. Artists need to sign agreements for their engagements so that it is easier to address issues in case they arise. It is unfortunate, but I can’t help,” Cindy explained when asked if could intervene in Eddy Yawa
Eddie Yawe recently denied the allegations, claiming the upcoming musician is trying to tarnish his name.
