A week ago, Rocky Giant was released from City Rehabilitation Centre located in Mpererwe, a Kampala suburb.
He had been there for close to six months battling drug addiction.
According to family members, the Rehabilitation Centre is demanding over Ugx 20M.
His former friend Buchaman has now vowed to start a fundraising campaign to clear Rocky Giant’s bill.
Buchaman said, “I did not know he had a debt. But I trust my Ghetto people, we will clear the money. He is our brother, we can not let him down,” Buchaman pledged to help Rocky Giant.
This comes months after Rocky Giant’s brother, Robert Aluma, requested Uganda Musicians' Association to clear his huge bill.
