Faded Kadongo Kamu singer Abdu Mulaasi had no single hit song before the lockdown. He wasn't earning much even before the pandemic. To increase his disposable income, he opened a cosmetic shop in Makindye. Women have been flooding his workplace, hoping to get some discounts.
Mun G —Poultry
He is still experimenting with poultry. He is doing it on a small scale at his home in Namugongo. He hopes to go bigger after expanding his market.
Sophie Gombya—Chapati Making
Sophie Gombya is in the food business with over 7 chapati stalls across Kampala. She earns over 70,000 per day from her stalls.
Ykee Benda —Piggery
Ykee Benda might not have paused his music, but he has also gone into farming. He owns a piggery farm. He is also into influencer management and marketing.
