Musician Ronald Mayinja declared his support for the opposition before switching to NRM. His move caused an uproar among the supporters of Bobi Wine who branded him as a traitor.
The “Bunkenke” hitmaker even went on to release a campaign song for President Museveni.
He was also among the many musicians who traveled to Gulu to meet Gen. Saleh.
The meeting caused a lot of noise on social media, with many hurling insults at them.
In a Facebook post, Bobi Wine equated entertainers who traveled to Gulu to beggars.
Ronald Mayinja, however, says they met in Gulu to brainstorm ways to improve the music industry.
He says Bobi Wine is a selfish politician who has no interest in improving the music industry simply because he wants to be bigger than every musician.
He also dares Bobi Wine to challenge him with a positive list of the positive things he has done for the music industry since becoming a legislator in 2017
