On Monday, Zari Hassan announced that she had finally secured a slot for a reality show on Netflix.
The show that is dubbed “The Young, Famous, and African” will air on Netflix in Nigeria and South Africa.
Zari becomes the first African socialite to have a reality show on Netflix. “Born in Uganda. Flourishing in Mzansi. Now we’re taking over Netflix! See me bossing it up on Netflix SA and Naija On Netflix’s first-ever African reality show, coming soon!” Zari announced on her social media platforms.
One of the biggest TV personalities Mc Kats has heaped praises on Zari saying she is the biggest socialite in Africa.
It should be noted that in 2012, Zari launched a reality TV show on UBC dubbed “Zari Bosslady” but it failed miserably.
Many other local celebrities like Bobi Wine have previously started reality TV shows but they didn't live to celebrate their first anniversary.
