Former President of Uganda Musicians' Association, Ykee Benda, has expressed his worry over the looming lockdown. He has called upon the government not to think about announcing another lockdown.
" A lockdown should not and be an option. If it means putting law and sentence in place against wearing a mask, please do. But do not think about locking a Ugandan down. You failed on so many levels. on first to feed them, so what are they going to eat," he tweeted.
Ykee Benda explained that the government should look out for other options that can help prevent the spread of of of Covid-19. He advised the government to instead put up a law that restricts people from going to the public without masks.
