NTV presenter Faridah Nakazibwe was one of the influencers of the 'I choose Peace' campaign before the 14th January 2021 general elections. 

This caused an uproar among opposition supporters who believed the influential news anchor was chasing the money and failed to stand for the truth.

Recently, when journalists were beaten by security forces and several opposition supporters attacked Faridah Nakazibwe over calling for peace when fellow journalists are bebrutalizedised.

They demanded that her employers should send her to the field so that she can face the wrath. In response, Faridah Nakazibwe said she is too beautiful to be beaten by the forces.

“Whenever I move around, even armed soldiers turn to look at me” she tweeted in response to the call that she should be sent to work from the field. 

It should be noted that towards the end of last week,  several journalists like Galaxy FM’s Rashidah Nakaayi, NBS’s Josephine Namakumbi were beaten by the army as they covered the former presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Robert’s trek to UN offices in Kampala.
