City socialite Judith Heard has declared her support for the NUP party and its presidential candidate, Bobi Wine comes on the 14th of this month.
The mother to twins said it is high time for Uganda to have change after 35years of NRM in power. She believes peaceful change is possible through casting the votes.
Judith Heard revealed that she will storm her polling station as early as 07:00 am to cast and protect her vote since it's her duty.
Through her social media accounts, she called upon her followers to go and vote on the polling day.
She posted, "We all hear that voting is important, but it can be easy to feel discouraged and forget the true significance of your participation in elections.
Voting is essential because it pushes a country's democracy to function in a fair and equal way. The whole point of a democracy is to ensure that everyone has their chance to elect a candidate and vote for policies that represent and benefit their communities.
You’ve got to vote, vote, vote, vote. That’s it; that’s the way we move forward.
