Longtime friends singer Jose Chameleone and Promoter Balaam Barugahara are no longer seeing eye to eye over what the singer terms as betrayal on Balaam's part.

The singer has asked Balaam to stop calling his father, Gerlard Mayanja, as away of getting to him. He has been calling his father non-stop.

He says Balaam is  hypocrite who didn't value their long standing friendship, he can no longer associate with him.

According to the “Valu Valu” hitmaker, he has never received a phone call or any other form of communication from Balaam and he has also never bothered contacting him.

"You should stop calling my father, you betrayed me at a time when I needed your support. I don't think we can continue with the friendship after all your actions don't represent something else, " Chameleone warned Balaam.

A week ago, a video of singer Chameleone clashing with URA officials who were demanding for legitimate documents for his Toyota Land cruiser V8 before impounding it went viral on social media. In the same video, Balaam’s voice was in the background ordering for the arrest of Chameleone and socialite Bryan White.

However, Balaam came out to deny the allegations and claimed he had no personal conflict with Chameleone. He was trying to help URA fight tax evasion and obstruction of justice by Bryan White who was allegedly trying to stop officers from enforcing the law.

Meanwhile, Chameleone's car is still parked at the URA headquarters in Nakawa.

It is said URA demands  over 200 millions in tax arrears.
