Buganda to Splash 2.8B on Gareth and Victoria’s wedding

City socialite Gareth Onyango proposed to Buganda Princess Victoria Nkinzi weeks ago.

And she will introduce Gareth to her parents, friends and relatives in October this year. 

Later in November on a date yet to be confirmed, the couple will walk down the aisle at Namirembe Cathedral. The function will be graced by the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi and highly placed government dignitaries.

According to insiders, a budget of over 2.8 billion has been set up to facilitate the functions.

The Kingdom treasury will foot the bills. The functions are expected to showcase class and glamour.
