Musician Jose Chameleone has called upon his supporters and People Power members to stand firm as they head for the polls in 2021.
Chameleone says the government has turned to buying many of them after mistreating citizens for the last 20 years.
"Uganda has a general poverty problem !! That's why they are going to buy you with gifts and prizes that overwhelm you but make you a slave to there opinions. After do many years they now want to share. Do they really want to ? Or it's the pressure we have asserted this time round ? They will only buy the moment NOT the time. Why have they made us beggars where we are able to work and benefit from our own hands," he posted on his Facebook page.
Chameleone's remarks came after Kenzo made a statement that he is nolonger a people power supporter after meeting President Museveni at State House.
