Singer Jose Chameleone, who recently ventured into politics has come out to clear air on speculations that he is affiliated to several political parties. He is suspected by many to belong to People power, a political pressure group led by Bobi Wine. Others argue that he has always supported NRM government.
"I intend to come on an independent ticket. I do not belong to any political party and I don't hold any party card," he stated.
On Saturday morning, Chameleone started his political journey by visiting to his birth place in Kawempe. He did general cleaning in Kawempe market before he played soccer with the natives.
