The dynamic duo, Radio and Weasel are set to drag industrial area based Dembe Fm to court over copyright infringement.
This comes in a few days after Radio nearly smashed Eddie Ssendi at Centenary park based Laftaz lounge during the Save Uganda Music campaign meeting. Ssendi is one of the co-presenters on the weekly Saturday show, talk and talk.
The singing duo accuses Dembe FM management of using the phrase Talk and Talk unfairly for over 10 Years for their weekly show dubbed 'Talk and Talk' which was as a result of their innovation and creativity, to which they claim they have rights and copyright.
According to Emma Carlos the groups newly signed PR manager, he said, “At the same time, the station has used the song 'Talk and Talk' and all its creativity aspects to promote the same said program, the station has accumulated revenues overtime on our creation therefore with effect from today the station is advised to cease using the said phrase 'Talk and Talk’ failure to do so we shall seek redress in courts of law.”
He also added that they have already engaged their lawyers and legal action will be taken
