The Goodlife singers, Radio and Weasel recently changed the venue for their much-anticipated concert that was scheduled for Friday, October 27 at Kampala Serena to early November. Through city promoter Balaam Barugahare, it was announced that the concert will take place on Friday, November 3 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
Media personalities criticized the sudden change of venue and date claiming that the singers have lost their touch and feared to be embarrassed by holding a concert at Serena. Dembe FM presenter, Kasuku came out to add a voice by saying that the singers are very frustrated.
“Those boys can never attract enough crowds. They can't produce good songs that will make Ugandans attend their concert. If the two were staging a good bye concert, then people would attend. They have been involved in very many stupid and cheap fights. Radio was recently fought with a DJ because his music wasn’t being played at vigil. I am one person who predicted their downfall two years back and here it is” Kasuku said.
Ever since Radio and Weasel fell out with their manager, Jeff Kiwa, who had made them into what they are now, the two have never been the same. Jeff Kiwa was the only manager that knew how to bring the best from Radio and Weasel. Jeff and the singers later fell out badly over allegations of witchcraft and ownership of property. The singers have been in and out of court with Jeff.
