One of Uganda’s most sought after modern day ‘men of God’, PROPHET ELVIS MBONYE has trashed as rumors that he accumulated wealth from conning his followers.

Prophet Mbonye also claims he is not a member of the infamous illuminati cult.

In a recent interview with an online news portal, The Observer, self-proclaimed prophet Mbonye denounced any involvement with illuminati groups as alleged by fellow pastors.

“Some of them say the powers I use to prophesy are from the devil. But I just forgive them because most of them don’t know what they are talking about,” he says.

It should be noted that Mbonye’s prophetic anointing has caught the attention of many people, and whenever he is preaching, believers pull out their phones to record the sessions lest they miss his prophesies.

However, some of these prophesy have come at a cost making critics brand him a con man who exploits ignorant people with a word of God at an exorbitant price in form of offertories and pledges.

One of the city lawyers, Nicholas Opiyo publicly branded him a conman, claiming “His so call prophecies are all works that would make a con man weep”, Opiyo seems to think.

Another renowned social media commentator St. Muhereza Kyamutetera nick named Mbonye, ‘Uganda's next biggest fraud’ after posting a photo of a pledge card ‘tricking’ people into tent contribution of between 200,000 - 3,000,000. See photo below!!
