Uganda’s singing duo Moses Sekibogo, Douglas Mayanja aka Radio and Weasel respectively of the GoodLyf crew have been summoned to Makindye court to answer the charges of Libel contrary to Section 179 of the Penal Code Act (Cap120) and Offensive communication contrary to section 25 of the Computer Misuse Act, 2011.

This comes after the duo a fortnight ago recorded and shared a video on Facebook in which they accused their former manager and Team No Sleep boss, Jeff Kiwa for allegedly sacrificing children and practicing witch craft.

The singers recorded the video at a time when Jeff was being held in police custody over his alleged involvement in a child sacrifice case where a one Herbert Were, 21, beheaded his young brother, Joel Ogema and alleged that he was told to do so by Jeff Kiwa.

Through his Lawyers from Muwema & Co Advocates, Jeff Kiwa served the Radio and Weasel with legal documents, demanding them to swallow their pride and pull down the video in question from their Facebook page.

Radio and Weasel however ignored Jeff Kiwa’s demands and instead hired a legal team of lawyers from Katende and Ssempebwa Advocates to defend them provoking Kiwa to swing into action against them hence the sermon.

In regard to the same document, court further warned the duo that their risk being arrested if they fail to comprehend to the issues here above. However the track record of Radio and Weasel indicates that they have a tendency of wanting to maintain their stand and this is arousing fears that the singers could end up behind bars if the same stand is kept in this case.
