Team no sleep manager, Jeff Kiwanuka, alias Jeff Kiwa who was recently linked to the murder of a young boy in Busia has denied involvement in the gruesome act claiming he is being framed by enemies.
Speaking to the media on Monday in Kampala, police spokesperson Fred Enanga said Kiwa had intimated to them that a Facebook page, claimed to have been used to lure the murderer Herbert Were was never his.
Were beheaded his 6 year old brother Ogema Joel with hopes of being recruited into a cult (Illuminati). He alleges that during April 2016, through Facebook, he got in touch with Jeff Kiwa a resident of Kabalagala township and a manager of “Team No Sleep” who promised to recruit him to become a member of Illuminati so as to become rich on condition he brought a head of any of his relatives.
“Prior to the arrest of the suspect Were, he claimed that Jeff Kiwa told him not to call while in Kampala but for them to meet at DEJABU Bar in Kabalagala,” says Enanga.
Enanga says they are investigating to find out if this is a witch-hunt from some musicians that are fighting wars with him.
