Daxx Kartel is finally a music award winner on Friday, March 5. Singer won 3 awards due to hit song -- Baala that everyone is talking about everywhere.

The long-awaited win — he’s been nominated three times total — was surely a surreal moment for the singer, who received a standing ovation while making his way toward the stage.
This is my first time to be nominated in any music awards, and this my first award to win in life! Am very happy, Thank you, Thank you Uganda!, he noted as he received his first award
He also thanked his mother who was in attendance for trusting and supporting him in his music journey, as well as fans and radio stations, and even TV stations for promoting good music. He also used his victory to call out the youth never to give up on their dreams.
