Trouble for Arru South county Odonga Otto is far from over, after Court in Kitgum issued fresh summons against him and Lucy Achiro his Aruu North County counterpart.

The summons were issued by Kitgum Grade One Magistrate Isaac Rukundo against the MPs who are jointly accused of threatening violence, obstructing electoral officers,  inciting violence and destruction of electoral materials.

The duo is said to have organised a mob to storm Pader Central Police Station disrupting an application filed by former Aruu South Parliamentary contender James Nabinson Kidega.

Magistrate Rukundo Prior to the issuing of the summons observed that the continuous absenteeism of the defendants is delaying the hearing and conclusion of the matter, thereby wasting the time of state witnesses who are always present in court.

The two are expected to appear before court within two weeks from the date of issue of the summons, to attend the hearing of the criminal case lodged against them in the aftermath of the 2016 general elections

They are to appear in Court on January 25 for hearing of the matter.
