The Aruu north county Member of Parliament Hon. Odonga Otto is spitting fire after the Forum for Democratic Change, FDC party president Maj. Gen. Mugisha Muntu left him out of the newly created shadow cabinet.

On Tuesday, Mugisha Muntu and the leader of opposition Winnie Kizza named the new shadow cabinet leaving out some old opposition members who have been on the side of Dr. Kiiza Besigye from way back.

Those left out include; Odonga Otto, Nabilla Nagayi, Kampala Woman MP, Nathan Nandala Mafabi, the Budadiri West MP, and Elija Okupa, the Kasilo County MP.

The furious Otto says they have been sidelined for pamper wearing politicians because they never supported Mugisha Muntu from the start.

“Its an insult to us. We have done so much for the party, we were the ones behind walk to work, we are actually the ones who made Mugisha Muntu to join opposition,” says Otto.

He argues that; “For us to see individuals who are still putting on political pampers, they have not even finished their orientation to be given key positions, yet those with wide experience are left out, it simply shows that there is something not right about the way Muntu is running the party.”

Otto says he has been contacting his counterparts and they will not take this lightly. He also explains that the party will now be divided into two factions of Dr. Besigye Loyalists and Mugisha Muntu.

“We are most likely going to see two FDCs on the floor of the house. We are being victimized for being close to Besigye. Mugisha Muntu is sidelining us for being close to Besigye.”

Otto also claims they cautioned Muntu and his group against formulating the shadow cabinet before Besigye’s release but in vain.
