Police are investigating circumstances under which a storeyed building under construction collapsed and killed the owner.
The incident happened today Friday at Kabulengwa in Nansana Municipality. The victim has been identified as Kawesa Joseph, 29.
The deceased's body has been conveyed to Kampala Capital City Authority mortuary, Mulago, for a post mortem.
Asp Luke Owoyesigyire the Deputy PRO KMP says Police Fire Prevention and Rescue Services are still at the scene in search for the foreman of the site building, who is believed to still be trapped under the rubble.
“We will share more details on the suspected cause of the collapse and victims as soon as investigations are complete” he said.
