Suleiman Kabale, the Former LC Chairperson of Kiwoko town council says that Mwesigye’s body was discovered by the pupils who had stopped by the farm at around 8:00 am to pick mangoes.

The pupils alerted him and he immediately notified Policemen from Kiwoko Police Station who removed the body.

Mwesigye is believed to have been strangled before his motorcycle was stolen. The attackers left behind beans and polythene bags which Mwesigye was carrying on the motorcycle. He was a trader dealing in the sale of beans and maize flour.

Residents say he was last seen at Kalagala village selling beans.

The body also had bruises on the neck, which indicates there was a scuffle.
