President Yoweri Museveni also National Resistance Movement party Presidential candidate is today Friday 11th Decemer 2020 taking a break off the campaign trail to hold the annual Thanksgiving Prayers.

Unlike in the past where hundreds of people were invited and preachers flown in from America, this time round the prayers will be scientific with just a few VIPs and religious leaders present, due to the COVID19 pandemic that has made it impossible for such huge gatherings to happen.

The prayers will be broadcast live on all Radio and TV stations starting a 2:00pm. The main celebrant is the Kampala Archbishop His Grace Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, while the main preacher is the Archbishop Emeritus province of Church of Uganda, His Grace the Most Rev. Dr Henry Luke Orombi.

They will run under the theme; “Blessed are the peacemakers, they shall be called Sons of God.”

The president will return to the campaign trail tomorrow Saturday and meet NRM leaders and later youth leaders in Kabale district as part of his scientific campaigns.
