Officers at Kibaale Central police station have two suspects in custody following the brutal murder of a 28-year-old man. The duo is identified as Ismail Ahebwa and a one Mbabazi, both residents of Kihumuro Village in Mugarama Sub County.

The suspects are accused of hacking John Sunday, a resident of the same area to death on Sunday night using a hand hoe and machete.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson, says the deceased was hacked on the head, face and in stomach killing him instantly.    

His lifeless body was found lying in a pool of blood in a nearby garden in Kihumuro village by area residents on Monday morning. Hakiza says Police swung into action and arrested the duo to help police investigations. 

Preliminary investigations show that the two fully participated in the brutal murder of the deceased and they will be charged with murder once police investigations are complete.
