Police at Matugga Station are investigating the sudden death of Noeline Nansamba, 36 years old, in a shrine owned by Shaban Kayiza in Kirwanila Village Matugga, Wakiso District.
Luke Owoyesigyire the deputy police spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan area says Kayiza recorded a statement indicating that the victim was brought by her relatives for treatment at his shrine on Tuesday at around 2pm and she was received by John Luswata.
Luswata claims the details of the people, who dropped her off, for treatment were not captured. He insists the deceased was brought in a critical condition.
On Wednesday (today), Nasamba died prompting Kayiza to report to the nearest police station. The body of the deceased has been conveyed to city mortuary Mulago for postmortem.
Three suspects have been arrested. These are Shaban Kayiza, John Luswata and another only identified as Siraj.
Investigations into the matter have been instituted and a charge of murder is being investigated.
